CHAMADA DE TRABALHOS
[NOVO PRAZO PARA SUBMISSÃO DE RESUMOS – 15/02/2022]

O Centro de Linguística da Universidade do Porto tem a honra de anunciar a realização do Congresso Internacional em Sintaxe (CISyntax2022), que decorrerá em homenagem à Professora Doutora Ana Maria Brito.
O Congresso terá lugar nos dias 13, 14 e 15 de julho de 2022, em regime presencial, nas instalações da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto (FLUP), Portugal.
A Professora Doutora Ana Maria Brito é Professora Catedrática Jubilada da FLUP, desde o dia 1 de janeiro de 2021. Docente de Linguística e investigadora com vastíssima produção científica, desenvolveu a sua atividade principalmente na área da Sintaxe, não descurando, contudo, domínios de interface como Sintaxe-Semântica e Sintaxe-Morfologia. Reconhecem-se também como áreas da sua atuação a Sintaxe Comparada, a Variação Sintática e o Ensino da Sintaxe.
Tendo em conta as valências da nossa homenageada, este Congresso contará com os seguintes eixos temáticos:
– Sintaxe (vários quadros teóricos)
– Sintaxe e Interfaces
– Sintaxe Comparada
– Sintaxe e Variação Linguística
– Sintaxe e Ensino

Aceitam-se trabalhos nas modalidades Comunicação oral (20 minutos de apresentação + 10 de discussão) e poster (exposição permanente, com breve apresentação).
O Congresso terá como línguas de trabalho o Português, o Espanhol, o Francês e o Inglês.

NORMAS PARA SUBMISSÃO
Os resumos devem ter no máximo duas páginas A4 (incluindo referências e exemplos), com margens de 2,5cm, fonte Times New Roman, 12pts, com espaçamento simples. Cada autor poderá apresentar apenas dois trabalhos: um de que seja autor único ou primeiro autor e um de que seja coautor, não sendo o primeiro. Por favor, indique na sua submissão se o resumo deve ser considerado para comunicação oral e/ou para 
poster. 
Os resumos devem ser anónimos e ser enviados, em formato PDF, através da plataforma Easychair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cisyntax2022) até 15 de fevereiro de 2022.

DATAS IMPORTANTES
– Submissão de trabalhos até ao dia 15 de fevereiro de 2022;
– Comunicação de aceitação a 30 de março de 2022.

CALL FOR PAPERS
[EXTENDED DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION: 15/02/2022]

The Centre of Linguistics of the University of Porto is pleased to announce the International Congress on Syntax, which will be held in honour of Professor Ana Maria Brito.
The congress will take place from 13 to 15 July 2022, at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto, Portugal.
Ana Maria Brito a (retired) Full Professor of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto (FLUP), since 1st January 2021. Her teaching activity and extensive scientific production have mainly focused on syntax and its interfaces with semantics and morphology. She has also worked on comparative syntax, syntactic variation and the teaching of syntax. 
Given the research interests of our honoree, this congress will include the following themes:
– Syntax (various theoretical frameworks)
– Syntax and Interfaces
– Comparative Syntax
– Syntax and Linguistic Variation
– Syntax and Teaching 

We invite abstract submissions for oral presentation (20 min for presentation + 10 min for discussion), poster (permanent exhibition, with a brief presentation session) or both.The working languages of the congress will be Portuguese, Spanish, French and English.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Abstracts should be anonymous and no longer than two pages A4, including references and examples, with margins of at least 2,5 cm, font Times New Roman, size 12, single spaced. Each author may only submit two abstracts: one as the only author or the first author and another as a co-author but not the first one. Please indicate in your submission whether your abstract should be considered for oral presentation, poster 
presentation or both. 
The abstracts should be submitted in PDF format through EasyChair(https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cisyntax2022) no later than February 15, 2022.

Notification of acceptance: March 30, 2022
